This card game is EXTREMELY simple!

The instructions for each card are printed right on them, and the rules are on the side of the box.

Card Counts: Black Box / Squawk Box

  • Player Cards (166 / 175)

    • The 1st word in the compound word.

  • Dealer Cards (134 / 142 )

    • The 2nd word in the compound word.

  • Party Fowl Cards

    • Dealer cards shuffled into the dealer deck. These cards are drawn at random and when they're drawn, each player must follow the rules written on it.

      • Pressure Cooker (8 / 8)

        • Each player must draw a new player card and play that card for that round.

      • Pass the Beak (4 / 3)

        • All players must pass 4 of their 5 cards to the player to their left.

      • Scrambled Eggs (3 / 3)

        • The dealer's card becomes the 1st word and the player's card becomes the 2nd word in the compound word.

      • Ruffle Feathers (3 / 4)

        • All players must shuffle their card, place them face down, and choose the top card. They must play that card for that round.

      • Poultry Purge (New, 4)

      • CaptHEN Coop (New, 3)

      • Fowl Play

      • Cluck of the Draw

      • Squawk Talk

      • Plucked and Confused

      • BUGOCK

      • Henhouse Shuffle

  • Pinky Card (1)

    • This card is given to the player who has the longest pinky and is worth 1 point; they are also the starting dealer. It's also recommended to nickname this person Pinky—especially if they're on a date—in which case you should also call their date Pinky. If there is a tie, the two pinky twins battle it out in a game of thumb wrestling.

  • Chicken Butt Card / Rule the Roost (1 / 2)

    • This is a dealer card shuffled into the dealer deck. This card is also drawn at random and when it's drawn, that dealer can make a rule, just like the a-hole they are! The only way to cancel the rule is for all players (minus the rule-making dealer) to join in a Rockette style dance. It will be a roostbellion!

  • Hen House Hijack (New, 1)

  • Blank Player and Dealer Cards (2 of each / 3 of each)

    • Think you're smart enough to write a word on a card? OK Professor, prove it. If your word sucks, you lose.

  • Blank Party Fowl Card (1 / 2)

    • This card can change everything. The student has become the teacher. Substitute teacher.
